A 55-minute workout on the Pilates reformer. Let your body move seamlessly from spine flexion to extension:

    Surprise to Sweat

    The Best Part, My Lower Back Pain Has Gone Away

    I attended Pilates classes because of my lower back pain that came about after National Service. I had fears prior to joining May’s Pilates session as the only guy in class, but her non-judgemental attitude very quickly eased my worries and concerns. I started to enjoy the sessions more and more each week with her patient guidance. The best part is that now my lower back pain has gone away!

    Pilates Group Class Schedule

    There is no class if the class day falls on a public holiday.

    Beginner’s (B): if you are new to Pilates, or you haven’t been exercising for a while, our Beginner’s class, marked as “B” on the time schedule, is designed with you in mind. Ease your body to the exercise, while receiving an appropriate level of exercise difficulty to challenge your body.

    Combined (C): the class is suitable for those who have done Pilates for a while. Also suitable for someone who is active, but has persistently tight muscles. Add a core workout to your weekly exercise to actively stretch and re-align. Beginners are welcome if you feel you can follow the class pace.

     You are very active, but have muscular pain or tightness due to over-worked muscles, try our Reformer Care classes for a different pace and exercise focus.

    Reformer Care

    Do you have a history of knee or low back pain, or is your neck and shoulders always feeling tight? Try the Reformer Care class to keep aches and pain away:

    •  A 55-minute class to strengthen your core, improve posture and overall body strength
    • Class size: up to 4 persons to 1 instructor. The class is smaller than our flow class to allow you time to stretch and work on resolving tightness and alignment issues
    • Workout intensity: moderate

    A multi-equipment class which include exercises on the reformer, trapeze table, barrel and chair^

    Class is suitable for someone with musculoskeletal pain or tightness who wants to be more careful with their exercise to avoid injury or re-injury.

        Didn't Ache Much During Pregnancy, Minimal Water Retention

        Attended Move Therapy’s Pre-natal Pilates sessions from my second trimester onwards. Each session was very helpful in improving my posture (e.g. walking gait) and provided me with ample opportunities to have a good stretch and build muscles. With the regular Pilates sessions, I didn’t ache much during my pregnancy and had minimal water retention. May is an extremely good instructor as she is patient, provides clear instructions and is very attentive to students’ posture. I have benefited much from the sessions and will highly recommend the sessions. Can’t wait to return for more!
