Enjoy Pilates On Different Equipment

You may be familiar with Pilates exercises on the mat, but Pilates is also performed on equipment such as on the Pilates reformer, trapeze table and chair. These equipment are usually reserved for 1-to-1 sessions in a studio. What sets our group classes apart is, you will have access to these Pilates equipment in our group classes. ^ What you will receive:

  •  A workout of 55 minutes to strengthen core muscles, stretch and tone the body on different Pilates equipment like the reformer, trapeze table, chair and mat
  • Available during the day: take a quick break from your busy schedule to reset and re-align the body
  • Or join the evening or Saturday classes to stretch, strengthen and bring balance back to the body after a long day
  • Improve your sitting and standing posture; experience less aches and pain
  • Exercise in a small class ratio of 4 participants max. to 1 instructor; good for beginners
  • Our Flexi Class Plan allows you to easily convert your daytime classes to evening or Saturday classes to suit your schedule

*T&Cs apply. After the trial, class prices depend on the class time and package size. Weekday classes are $65 each, while weeknight & Saturday classes are $75 each. The prices are based on a minimum of 10 classes. Save $50 when you sign up for 20 classes. All packages have expiration dates. ^The combination of Pilates reformer, trapeze table, chair or mat exercises for each class is at the instructor’s discretion. — About the Instructor —

The Pilates group classes are taught by May Tham. May is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, NCPT. She conducted a weekly Pilates class for NUS faculty and staff for three years. She also taught in the studio and in corporate fitness classes.

    Weekly Pilates For A Stronger Body

    Back in 2017, I wrote the one good thing that happened to me in 2017 was attending your Pilates group classes. I have chronic lower back pain since early 20s. I am in my 30s now. I did a MRI scan a year ago. I have ‘lesser fluid’ on two of my lower back discs and this might be the cause. Sometimes, sitting was just annoying and I had to take leave to lie down... After three years of weekly Pilates: My MC leave in 2017 was 9 days, 2018 was 5.5 days, 2019 was 4.5 days, 2020 was 0 day! You taught me how to pay attention to my body. Nothing beats a body that functions optimally for me. Thank you. Please continue doing what you do!

    Really like the Pilates class, better flexibility

    I really like the Pilates class because May explains it very well. As such, I can actually do the exercise quite easily. At the same time, I can feel improvement in my flexibility. I hope she continues teaching the class at NUS.
