Group Class Pilates 


Do you have no time to exercise? Then you’ll love our group classes to recharge and realign the body. What you’ll receive:

  • An effective workout to strengthen core muscles, stretch and tone the body
  • Scheduled in the mornings and at lunch time, take a quick 50-minute break to do Pilates before continuing on your day. Never missing a beat! 
  • Evening classes, each of 1 hour long, are available. Stretch and strengthen the body after a long day. Recharge & realign the body
  • Improve your sitting and standing posture; experience less aches and pain
  • Exercise in a small class ratio of 2 – 3 participants to 1 instructor; good for beginners
  • Receive a combination of Pilates equipment and mat exercises.^ Experience the exercises on various Pilates equipment such as the reformer, chair and tower
  • (NEW) Are you going back to the office? The new flexi class plan allows you to convert the morning or lunchtime classes to evening classes and vice versa. See below for more details

Weekday morning and lunch-time classes are $60 per person & Saturdays are $65 each*.

Evening classes at 6 pm are $65 each, and 7 pm are $75 each.

*Prices vary depending on the class time. The above prices are based on a minimum of 10 classes. Receive $5 off per class when you sign up for 20 classes. ^The combination of equipment and mat exercises for each class is at the instructor’s discretion.

The Pilates group classes are taught by May Tham. May is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, NCPT. She conducted a weekly Pilates class for NUS faculty and staff for three years. She also taught in the studio and in corporate fitness classes.

    Surprise to Sweat

    Weekly Pilates For A Stronger Body

    Back in 2017, I wrote the one good thing that happened to me in 2017 was attending your Pilates group classes. I have chronic lower back pain since early 20s. I am in my 30s now. I did a MRI scan a year ago. I have ‘lesser fluid’ on two of my lower back discs and this might be the cause. Sometimes, sitting was just annoying and I had to take leave to lie down... After three years of weekly Pilates: My MC leave in 2017 was 9 days, 2018 was 5.5 days, 2019 was 4.5 days, 2020 was 0 day! You taught me how to pay attention to my body.     Really like the Pilates class, better flexibility

    I really like the Pilates class because May explains it very well. As such, I can actually do the exercise quite easily. At the same time, I can feel improvement in my flexibility. I hope she continues teaching the class at NUS.
